7200 Point Lake Dr. Division 12 Hickory Grove 7/16/2008 23:45 Robbery from Person - Armed Three victims reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects. One suspect had dreadlocks, wearing dark clothing and the second suspect had shorter dreadlocks and dark clothing. They were armed with a small revolver. No injuries.
300 Eastway Dr. Division 07 North Tryon 7/16/2008 20:20 Fire Case/Inv A piece of construction machinery at a park was destroyed by fire. Arson investigators were called to determine the cause of the fire.
4000 Brookshire Blvd. Division 27 Freedom 7/16/2008 19:58 ADW-With Injury The victim and his friend were walking when a gray Ford Mustang occupied by two black males and two black females approached. Two occupants were armed with handguns and shot at the victims, striking one in the upper torso. The victim was transported to CMC-Main with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled in the vehicle outbound on Brookshire Boulevard.
