I am a 41 yr old, college educated, African American male who 2years ago was living in a "nightmare". I met this woman who I later married, I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with we were married for 6 months,I thought I was happy so it seems.l One evening I came home early from work without telling my wife. I open my bedroom and what did I find? my wife and so=called best friend literally having sex so I snapped. I didn't kill them ,but I sured gave them something to remember that moment. Yes I was charged with "Domestic Violence' now I'm paying for it now no one wants to hire somebody with a criminal(DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) record, oh sure they'll hire an illegal immigrant, or an ex-con coming out of prison, or embezzlement or even a ex drug dealer (All felons)but they sure as hell won't hire someone with a domestic violence(misdemeanor) on there record. I'm been desperately try to find employment for eight months now and very discouraging, As I look at news onT.V., I cant help to wonder ,if these guys thats doing all these crimes here in Charlotte had some to give them a chance, we wouldn't have all these "Break-ins, Robberies, etc. . Please somebody give us a chance, what if the shoe was on the other foot?
