ATTENTION SOUTH DIVISION NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS:
On December 6, 2006 in the early afternoon hours several home burglaries occurred on Willow Rock (Providence Rd. West and Community House area), Danby Lane (Lancaster Hwy.), and Bar Harbor (Glen Eagles Rd.), all within a very short period of time.
After knocking on the door to check if anyone was home, the suspect kicked in the door and entered. In each case no one was hurt and we need your help in trying to identify the suspect.
Suspect - B/M, possibly in his 30's, light skin, a round face and thin mustache. Possibly driving a light colored 2003 model Ford Explorer or similar type vehicle.
Anyone who may have been in these areas and seen someone matching this description please contact Det. Steve Simono at 704-341-4167 or ssimono@cmpd.org

CRIME PREVENTION TIP - Please keep all items of value away from doors and windows during this holiday season. If someone knocks on your door let them know you are there, but do not open the door and call 911.
