Charlotteans, while our city continues to beautify our boulevards with crape myrtles, the people live in fear of the ever-increasing crime that encroaches on our very existence.
It's PATHETIC. What a bad reflection on this city to have judges and the District Attorney's office pander to the likes of sociopaths like Holly Mitchell and Joshua Ryder. Where is the conscience of our elected leaders??? How do they sleep at night? We don't need protection from the criminals, we need protection from our elected officials who make the unconscionable decisions to throw these vermin back out onto the street to continue to harm innocent and upstanding taxpayers. CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, STAND UP AND LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD! We are losing our city, our reputation and our people. Who cares about the crape myrtles when our lives are at stake! It breaks my heart knowing that today someone's life and the lives of those who love them will be detrimentally changed forever by the actions of criminals and our court system. Today the police will risk their lives to hunt them down and bring them in, only to have to go back out tomorrow and do it all over again. I don't want to hear the excuses or explanations anymore. I want to know that there are jails big enough, that there are enough prosecutors, that there are enough police officers, that the DA is going to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, and that Charlotteans are going to rise up and say, "ENOUGH!!"
