I have two children 24 and 27 and I cannot imagine losing either one to a murderer . All I can say is this, I want to believe there is a good life ahead of you and I wish you the very best. You are truly a strong and special person to share your deepest lost here with friends and strangers.

Thank you for your kind words. All of Mark Thomas' friends and I believe some family members have posted such evil things about Chris and his wife Dana. They do not know what they are doing, they do not know how evil it is to say those horrible things about a person who was murdered. Chris is my son, for as long as I live I will be filled with sorrow. It will not go away.

dear Mrs. Emerson, First off, i would like to say i am so sorry for your loss. I can say nothing to bring your son back. That being said, i would like to speak on behalf of Mark Thomas. Growing up, Mark Thomas would have been considered to be one of my best friends. I moved to another city in 2005 so i was not around for a long time, including the time in which the crime was committed. I do know, however, that Mark Thomas is NOT a danger to society. If you think that you are suffering, you need to know that Mark's family also suffers on a daily basis. Whoever is at fault here, (and it can and has been argued that if Mark were not confronted with workplace neglegance and a shotgun to the face, that this would not have happened) the lesson to be learned from this is that in cases like this, no one is without fault. It very easily could have been Mark dead and your son in prison, then how would you feel if people were bashing your son on internet posts. The Thomas's are a very good family and they raised their son well, he was a grown man when he made his decision and his family cannot and should not be held accountable.
