North Tryon Street at West Tenth Street - A Central Divison officer was flagged down regarding a person lying on a walkway. The officer found the victim stabbed in the chest. The victim died after being transported to CMC. SWAT was called to search an apartment to locate a possible suspect. Update: suspect in custody approx 1200 Hrs.
3231 Rozzelles Ferry Rd. - The victim reports a Black Male suspect flagged him down to ask him a question, when he stopped the suspect pulled him out of the vehicle and drove off. The vehicle was located a short time later occupied four times.
5300 Old Pineville Rd. - The victim reported that he was leaving Ricks Cabaret when (3) White Male's (1 armed w/handgun) approached him and demanded his wallet. The victim began wrestling with the armed suspect and was shot in the foot.
5600 E. Independence Blvd. - (2) Black Males (1 armed w/handgun) approached the drive-thru window at the McDonalds and robbed the clerk of the cash register drawer. The suspects fled the scene in a stolen Lexus which was recovered nearby.
8538 N. Tryon St. - The victim reported that (2) Black Males armed with handguns robbed him of his vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered.
