6401 Montego Dr - 6 Black Males robbed the victim at knife-point and fled the area on foot, no injury.
2020 Beatties Ford Rd - The suspect robbed the store at gunpoint and shot the clerk one time in the neck. The victim was transported to CMC with serious injuries.
6800 Monroe Road - A W/M and W/F couple broke into East Mecklenburg High School. School Law Enforcement officers responded and observed the suspect truck leaving the scene. A pursuit ensued and the suspects were apprehended in Union County. Electronic equipment stolen from the school was recovered.
3300 block South Boulevard - A pedestrian was struck by a drunk driver while the pedestrian was crossing the roadway. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver was treated at CMC with minor injuries then arrested for DWI. HITS officers responded to handle the investigation.
