1419 W Trade St. - Officers responded to a subject being shot in the parking lot. Victim was located in the parking lot responsive. Victim was pronounced on the scene. Homicide responded
2508 Highland Park Dr. - Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoin
3621 Avalon Ave. - The victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint by a B/M who fled the scene on foot.
525 Blendwood Dr. - A Papa Johns delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by (4) B/M's.
10100 E. W. T. Harris Blvd. - A B/M armed with a handgun entered the Auto Zone and fired one shot into the floor. He demanded money but fled the scene without taking any. There were no injuries reported and the suspect was last seen leaving the area in a white colored vehicle occupied by several other subjects.
Barrington Dr. - This has been reported as a drive-by shooting. Victim was reportedly shot twice (arm and leg). He was transported with serious but NLT injuries. Officers are looking for a suspect vehicle (possibly a green colored vehicle).
2516 W Sugar Creek Rd. - Family Dollar Store employees were robbed by one suspect.
2820 Boyer St. - McDonalds was robbed through the drive thru by 2 armed subjects in a silver minivan.

I love this section. It is nice to know the truth about the crimes that happen in Charlotte. We don't hear 1/4 of these in the news. I have learned that I should never deliver pizza, work in a convenience store or a fast food joint or a gas station. Bummer

Wonder if the mortality rate and the fact that many immigrants take these jobs are correlated. HMMM....inaction on both crime AND illegal immigrants -- is this some twisted form of genocide?

It is pretty scary, isn't it? Listen to the scanner for one hour and you will be shocked as to what goes on in Charlotte! A lot more crimes occur in Charlotte and we don't hear about them in the news or on this site. I was not surprised one bit when we ranked #8 as most dangerous city and I want to see something done about it!!

Oh, I have a genuine scanner addiction now. Listening to it on Halloween night was quite the entertainment.
Children being robbed of shoes and phones at gunpoint and shot in the leg. Sure am glad there isn't a crime problem, though.
