401 Lawton Rd- Officers responded to an alarm at Belhaven Tire and apprehended a suspect who was observed fleeing the business following a B&E. Burglary Detective notified. The suspect was bitten by a K-9 Unit which responded to assist with the search.
16000 Blk of York Rd- Female subject found deceased inside of a docked house boat. Homicide notified.
3030 Tacoma St. - The victim was robbed of his cash and cell phone by (2) B/M's (1 armed with a knife). The suspects fled on foot.
6801 Northlake Mall Dr. - The victim was robbed of her purse and cell phone by a B/M armed with a handgun. The suspect possibly fled the scene in a burgundy colored Dodge.
1800 S. Tryon St.- The suspect attempted to grab the victim's purse in the parking lot of the AA and fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
607 Stillgreen Ln -Vacant house burned; suspected arson. Significant damage to the rear of the house, no injuries.
4430 The Plaza- Business robbery at Bi-Lo including several victims and suspects. 4 BM suspects, no injuries.
3700 block Surry Ridge Court - Victim reported that white male suspect, about 6'0" tall, 200-220 lbs, wearing dark colored clothing covering his head and blue jeans, attempted to break into her residence. Suspect left in a black SUV parked nearby.
6800 block Albemarle Road- Juvenile victim reported that unknown suspect(s) fired shots into a vehicle she was in striking her in the foot. Victim transported to University Hospital by driver.
4335 Montgomery Gardens Drive - Victim kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend and transported to another location on Bradford Drive. Homicide notified. North, Freedom, and Metro officers arrested suspect without incident @ 0425 hours. Victim had minor injuries. No weapons involved.
Best Western Sterling Inn, 242 E. Woodlawn Road -Victim Clerk reported that a B/M in his 20s, armed with a handgun, wearing a black bandanna over his face, a black baseball cap, and baggy blue jeans robbed the business. K-9 Officer responded.
2500 block Pine Street- Female victim robbed while walking home after getting off the bus. Both suspects armed with black handguns. Victim struck in the back of the head when she advised the suspects she did not have any money. B/M suspects, 16 yoa, 5'6", 120-150 lbs.
3000 block Deason Court- Father took his three year old daughter to the hospital in reference to being assaulted by an uncle. Juvenile Detective notified.
427 Lambeth Drive - Attempted robbery when male victim opened the door to someone pretending to need help. Suspect discharged a shotgun inside the residence toward the floor and then fled on foot. Suspect B/M, late 20s, 5'11", red baseball hat, blue shirt, red jacket. No injuries. Robbery Detective responded.
