11025 University City Blvd- This is the business of Food Lion. Employees advise that they were just robbed by a B/M suspect. B/M, 6'0, navy blue turtleneck, black jacket, and a pistol. Contractor saw a white toyota tundra pull out of the back at a high rate of speed. No injuries.
13108 Eastfield Road- This is the business of Lowes Food. Employee advises that they were robbed by a B/M, tall, slender, dark pants, white tennis shoes, black tobaggan, pistol. Left on foot. No injuries.
Kentbrook Drive- Mother of the child in this case suspected that her 2 year old daughter had been sexually assaulted. Mother took child to CMC Childrens Emergency to be examined.
125 S Bruns Ave- Victim advises that he was walking down the street when a Black SUV drove up beside him, stopped and the occupants starting shooting at him. Witnesses gave the same account. Victim was shot several times(12-15) in the lower extremeties and was transported. Suspects were B/M's and their were several in the car. At 0600 officers followed up on victims condition - in surgery - stable.
2200 Sanders Ave- Victim in this case advises that he was approached by 3 B/M's that tried to rob him. Victim advises that the suspects came up to him and said something to the effect of Merry Christmas - Mother F---ers - give it up. Victim took off running and out ran them. Victim advises that a few minutes after he got away he heard 2 gunshots. This may have been the robbery on Fairmont St. Suspects were 3 B/Ms in teens.
4947 Central Ave- Officers located a stolen vehicle going down Central Ave. Suspects were 3 B/F's. After officers did some further investigation it ended up being an unlawful use. The driver had warrants on her for other things - so the officers arrested on that.
219 Mill Road- Officers were called to assist CFD in ref to a house fire. Everyone got out of the house. No injuries. Arson investigations advise that it appears to be an accidential fire involving a candle. Investigation continuing.
5471 Central Ave- The victim was shot one time and transported to CMC with NLT injuries. Three B/M suspects fled the scene in a silver vehicle.
4336 Park Road- Following a verbal confrontation, the victim was stabbed by a known suspect The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
436 East 36th Street- A B/M armed with a knife struggled with the victim until he was able to take her purse. The suspect then fled on foot.
1735 W Trade St- B/M suspect robbed Church's Chicken at gunpoint and fled the scene on foot.
132 E McCullough Dr- B/M robbed the Microtel Inn at gunpoint and fled in an unknown vehicle.
5828 Cedars East Ct- 3 B/Ms entered the victim's home at gunpoint and robbed him.
9627 Parkridge Drive- The victim was intoxicated and was involved in a domestic confrontation when he was stabbed by a known female suspect. The victim was transported to CMC with life-threatening injuries. Homicide detectives and a DV detective were notified. The investigation is continuing.
