3649 Bahama Drive- The victim and a friend were leaving an apartment complex when they heard several shots. One bullet was fired into the vehicle they were in and glass fragments broken from the bullet struck the victim. She was treated for a NLT injury.
3623 Bahama Drive- The victim was leaving an apartment complex when he heard several shots. One bullet was fired into his vehicle that went through the back seat and struck the victim. He was transported to CMC where he suffered a serious but NLT injury. No suspects were located.
3131 Central Avenue- The victim was walking in the pva when he was approached by 2 B/M's, one armed with a shotgun. The victim was robbed then shot. He suffered a serious but NLT injury.
4501 East Independence Boulevard- The victim was sitting inside a vehicle in the PVA of the Baha Mama Bar and Grille when a disgruntled patron fired shots in the parking lot. One bullet struck the victim and he received a serious but NLT injury.
8400 Old Statesville Road- A W/M in his 30's robbed the Fairway Exxon at gunpoint. He fled the scene in a dark red vehicle.
Briar Creek Road at Green Oaks Lane- Pursuit involving Providence Division Officers. Related to Armed Robbery from Person. Suspects jumped and ran near Drummond and Pickeney. K-9 responded and started a track. One suspect located; robbery Detective notified.
6327 Albemarle Road- Victim advised that she was robbed at gunpoint by a B/M in all black clothing. Victim was reportedly making a bank deposit for the Family Dollar Store when robbed.
3901 Carlyle Drive- A small, single engine plane crashed in the back yards at the above location. Initial survey indicated two deceased persons. Flight report indicates 4 dead. No injuries to anyone other than the occupants of the plane; no fire. Established a Unified Command with MEDIC and CFD; notified the FAA, NTSB. Large number of officers needed to contain the debris field.
1515 South Blvd.- A B/M and a B/F armed with a handgun entered the Laurel Mart South. The clerk held the female at gunpoint until police arrived. Both suspects were apprehended. Detectives Andringa and Carroll were notified and are conducting follow-up investigation.
6721 Independence Blvd.- A 36 YOA male was found deceased inside of business. Case being treated as a death investigation at this time.
3711 Central Ave.- The victim was exiting the check cashing business at the AA when he was shot several times by a B/M suspect in an apparent robbery attempt. The suspect possibly fled the scene in a white colored vehicle. The victim was transported to CMC with life threatening injuries.
