4939 Central Ave.- Male suspect stabbed his girlfriend and then fled the scene. The victim was transported to CMC with NLT injuries.
4309 Sunset Rd.- (2) masked B/M's armed with handguns entered the Advance Auto Parts and robbed the business and customers inside of cash and cell phones. The suspects were last observed fleeing the scene on foot.
4100 Brookshire Blvd. (Burger King) - Officers are on the scene of a shooting which occurred at the above location. It is believed that this incident started out as a domestic altercation inside of the business at which time the known suspect was asked to leave the restaurant. Upon exiting the business the suspect fired shots into the window. There were a number of customers and employees inside of the business when the shooting occurred however there were no injuries reported. Officers are still looking for the suspect and warrants for his arrest will be sought. The suspects name is not being released at this time.
6128 Raisin Tree Lane- Victim reported that he was outside shooting fireworks with others when 5 B/Ms walked by. Shots were fired from the direction of the males and the victim was struck in his right ankle (NLT). The victim's rear vehicle window was also damaged by gunfire.
6401 Spanish Moss Lane- Victim reported that she heard a "pop" shortly after the New Year and later discovered a spent projectile on her floor and a hole in her living room ceiling. No injuries.
1100 Jenkins Drive- Officers followed a suspicious vehicle, later determined to be stolen, to the dead end of Jenkins Drive. Suspects backed the suspect vehicle, with the doors open, into the patrol vehicle damaging the right front quarter panel. Suspects fled on foot and were not located. No reported injuries.
Featherbrook Road- Female reported that she was sexually assaulted at the residence of a male friend she just met. Victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.
3640 Bahama Drive- Victim reported that he opened the back door to an acquaintance who fired one shot striking him in the left leg (appears NLT). Victim transported to Presbyterian Hospital where officers will standby to assess the victim's condition further. One other occupant who was not injured.
