In the survey, several of you asked that I include the time of the crimes reported here. That was a great suggestion and this information is available on the 'Watch Commanders Report'.
All the information I post in the crime blotter is sent each morning to all the media outlets and Officers at CMPD. The information they provide on this report is all I know unless the media picks up the story and investigates further. Those stories generally make it to the blog. Many of you asked for more information and I wish I could do that but I work all day and could not possibly do this.

B/M suspect robbed the victim at gunpoint and fled the scene on foot.

Remount Road and West Boulevard area
An officer located a suspicious vehicle later to discover that it had been taken in a break-in. Officers attempted to keep the vehicle in sight until the helicopter was able to locate it. The stolen vehicle at one point struck another vehicle causing property damage only. The suspect eventually jumped and ran and was apprehended shortly thereafter. The driver was charged with DWI and possession of a stolen vehicle among other charges.

4700 Central Avenue
The victim was approached by a W/F pushing a B/M in a wheelchair. The female asked for money. As the victim handed the victim money, the B/M produced a handgun and demanded all the victim's money. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
