Spokane Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred Sunday night that left two people injured. Allegedly, the male victim had been visiting at a home near Liberty Park and had gotten into a dispute with members of a local gang. It has been reported that the gang members then shot the man while he was standing in the front yard of the home and stray bullets entered the house wounding a six year of girl who was inside. Police were able to move the victims of the shooting to an alley where they were treated by medics and transported to the hospital. Some of the alleged gang members were reported to have possibly fled to a nearby home and armed with a shield, officers entered the residence. They were unable to locate any suspects and the investigation has been reportedly turned over to the Gang Unit, who is looking into several leads. According to police, it is extremely difficult to get anyone to speak out against this violence because they fear the gang members will seek revenge against them and their loved ones. The Gang Unit is confident that the suspect will be apprehended. Criminal Law News Brought To You By 509CriminalLawyers.com
