2nd victim died
Police say shooter and victims all had some relationship to Moe's, in other words it was not a random act of violence

I just received the media release from CMPD. The man who was arrested is Derrick Lamont Gregory. Gregory was a former employee of Moe's who was fired a few weeks ago. Amazingly, Gregory does not have any criminal record in NC. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a criminal record in another state.
Two men were killed in the shooting. They are Vincent Ferens (Managing Partner) amd Jeffrey Maher (Assistant Manager) The restaurant was occupied by several customers, but none were injured in the incident. Derrick Lamont Gregory has been charged with two Counts of Murder. (I'll be posting all this info on the blog in a moment)

My heart and prayers go out to the families and friends of those who died in this tragic crime. May there memories keep them alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

I truly hope he gets the death penalty for killing our dear friend for no reason at all. This man has no purpose in life.

Has anyone ever considered that maybe the shooter could have been possibly mistreated? That seems to be the case on most low paying gigs in the world these days! I remembered when the story aired on WBTV NEWS that he did have some type of human deficiency. Maybe he was a little slow too! They said that people in general would always pick on him for for no apparent reason whatsoever. That's why I don't pick on anybody at work, school or wherever because they could go postal!!!! You never know these days! The same person you picked on could end of being your greedy boss one day, or become more successful then you could ever dream!! In short, it still was a tragedy that something like that happened; the news said he had moved from Greensboro to start his life over, and find better employment!

Are you KIDDING me??? Did you even know Vinny & Jeff??? And when did MURDERING 2 innocent people become a solution if he thought he was being mistreated?
You are as sick as he is.

He should DIE. No sympathy. He took away a wonderful man and friend. Whine if you want, but if you kill, then be killed.
