The county is trying to eliminate the MCSP and have the CMPD and/or hire private security to patrol:
- DSS
- Mental Health (Billingsly RD)
- Hal Marshall Bldg
- Any county owned property
- Transport juveniles on custody orders
- Stand-by's at DSS when children are being taken away.
Is the city ready to allocate resources to answer calls and make arrests at these places?
