I would not get too excited about expecting any resluts after reporting it. There is a house we know about in East Charlotte that sells drugs, and we reported it to the narc division, and the local neighborhood division. All they told us was that they are looking into it, and that they have to build a case. That was about a year ago. i guess the fact that we toldthem about the young child that lives there is probably living in danger day to day didnt mean anything to CMPD.
that was just one of the reasons we fled Charlotte to a surrounding county.

I would like to know as well. I live in the adjacent neighborhood and this medium is an excellent way to communicate these issues on a grass roots level. Possibly in this case, DSS could get involved if a child is present.

DSS was contacted. Same response, they needed proof of ABUSE. Suspected drug house isnt abuse I guess. They must be short staffed. I guess all the citys money and employees are tied up building arenas that no one goes to, and light rail no one will ride..........but thats another story

DSS in both states is a joke. Lets see, child raped by father, father murders child, siblings and possibly spouse & burns the house down? DSS was SUPPOSED to be MONITORING this family. Uh-huh...seems like they were REALLY doing their jobs! This is just in SC - there are more too in SC & NC. Family courts are farce and attorneys and judges spend WAY to much time with each other out of court (golfing, lunching, general sucking up)...hmmm...wonder if there's any bribery going on in both states...Good ol' boy network still in place...As the enlisted men in the military said in WWII - Situation normal, all fouled up.
