Intruders broke into my home between 2am-9am Thursday morning. Took one large screen tv and several other small electronics. Took the keys to my car and home, but were too stupid to drive the car so they took the owners manual with them.
My wife was home alone and heard nothing. At least one of the thieves entered the room she was sleeping and went thru her purse. I thank God she didnt wake up. I also wonder if it was a blessing i wasnt there. If i had been, someone would likely be dead now.

I have had a suspicious white truck that has been riding around and just parking in front of my house. Well my roommate is a big guy not something to back down from. The first time he saw the white truck was at night on Christmas day dusk. He went out and smoked a cigarette stood there and the people drove off. Then he saw them about 2 more times. The third time he saw them was going up the street when he was coming home from the store. I asked him to go get some stuff. when he was coming home the truck was leaving. He stopped and asked is there anything I can help you with? The guy said no he says well this truck has been down this way about 4 times in about a weeks time. The guy says to him you look familiar he says yea so do you. I was standing in front of where I live at and it was you I saw. The guy says it wasn't me you saw he says yes it was. In the meantime he always takes one of the Akitas with him to the store and Chip was laying down in the backseat. The guy starts getting out of the truck and the dog starts growling snarling, and his hair raises on his back. The guy says man that's a big dog. My roommate says yeah I have four more at the house just like him. We haven't seen that truck anymore in the area. I wonder if he was afraid of dogs??? Or was he afriad of coming into my house unsuspectingly and having 2 come at him from the front and the other 2 coming from other angles. I will tell you something I think these guys keep the wrong elements out of this house. I used to have 6 but animal control tole me I had to take them out of the county. Which I did they are doing there job where they are at now very well. I go see those two every chance I get.

If i had been, someone would likely be dead now. If I'm not home the alarm is on. My wife knows to have the bedroom door locked. She knows the code to the gun safe. If the alarm sounds she gets the gun and calls the police and a neighbor to try to get a plate number. If the door is being forced open she has been instructed to get down behind the matress and to fire 13 times through the door and the sheetrock next to it and then to reload. Want to reduce home invasion? Drop some of them dead in your home but just make sure you have no choice and are in danger. Personally, I believe rthat anyone entering another man's house is capable of anything and one becomes forced to err on the side of their family's survival. Hopefully, NC's "Castle Law" will pass. HK
