I think its time (if there is not one already) to have some-sort of Judge watch. Someone or something that checks up on how these ELECTED people are doing and gives them a report card. That way we all know how they have been doing. Seems that these people have been letting a lot of folks slide through with hardly a scratch. We could also use someone to keep tabs on the NC Department of Corrections. Keeping tabs and asking those in charge to justify their reason's for letting convicted felons go early. To bad the local news media is not doing something to help the problem by asking the hard questions on a regular biases.

That looks pretty good. I should have added something about the watching the DAs Office too. One thing I did notice was that there has not been too much added to it in a while.

Good call Bill! In watching Judge Howerton on the recent CNN blurb, his "recommendations" do not coincide with his past district-level case determinations in my experience.
