I purchased a 2 bd 1.5 2 story condo off of sharon lakes rd. 3 years ago as an investment. With the light rail coming I thought it was a good invest and since it was close to the Quail Hollow Estates, the area couldnt be too bad.
It seems like there is always crime and drug dealing in the area, how long do you think it will be, before that area is cleaned up?

My work requires me to see people in that area in their homes. Its amazing how different that area is compared to less than 1 mile away. I don't think that area will improve anytime soon. There are alot of low income families, illegal aliens and section 8 housing. The people I've talked to who live in the area say that its getting worse not better. I believe alot has to do with it being mostly rental property.
