Murder Victims:
* Jan 3, 2007
Eva Dunlap Green, 63
Ms. Green was found strangled in her residence at Charlottetown Terrace Apartments on Baxter St. Police charged 43 year old Kenneth Cyrus for her murder.
* Jan 10, 2007
Maria Domitila Perez-Gonzales, 46
On 1/1/07, the victim was stabbed to death at an apartment on Central Ave she shared with her boyfriend. She died 10 days later at CMC. Her boyfriend, Jose Francisco Hernandez is charged with her murder.
* Jan 12, 2007
Leroy Hodge Jr, 65
Officers found the victim inside his residence on Alma Ct. with a gun shot wound to the neck. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by medic. Jaquan R. Weathers was charged for his murder.

Keyon Demario Dial, 17
Victim was shot numerous times near the Mighty Mart on Custer Street near Beatties Ford Rd. Two people were charged with Dial's murder- Danielle Jermaine Jackson, 24 and a 14 year old teen.

Robert Griffin Taylor, 55
Victim was shot by his sister on Burnette Avenue. His 45 year old sister, Barbara Ann Westbrook, was arrested and charged with Taylor's murder.

Victim was shot at the El Vaquero Club.
* Feb 8, 2007
Luis Eduardo Ruiz-Garcia, 31
Victim was shot and killed by two men during a robbery attempt. Two murder suspects have been arrested by police. Calvin Phillip Houston, 24, and Ronnie Bernard Durham, Jr. are charged with Ruiz-Garcia's murder.

Tasia Lynette Boler, 21
Victim was strangled to death in her apartment with her 3 year old child nearby. Police conducted an autopsy and determined her death to be homicide. Marcus Brandon Witherspoon, 26, was arrested & charged with her murder.

The victim was shot at a party when a disturbance occurred. He was shot by an unknown subject.

Mark Bivens, 37
Victim was stabbed to death by Melvin Gene Ferguson Jr., 26. Ferguson was wanted in VA for the murder of another man in 2005. Ferguson was arrested after he stole the victims car and flagged down an ambulance for a cut he suffered on his hand. He was arrested and is in the Mecklenburg County jail.

Victim was shot to death on Wisteria Dr. inside an apartment at the Grand Oak Apartments. Police have charged Kevin Andrew Powell, 27, for the murder.

Blackmon was stabbed to death by Vernon Stewart. They had an on-going dispute that led to the murder.

Michael Christopher McLean, 35
McLean was shot near the intersection of Rowan Street and Tillman Road. The victim was transported to CMC where he died a short time later. Mitchull Donnel Moore was arrested for the murder.

Torrey Maurice Tillman, 23
Victim was shot and killed outside the Toll House Motel on Morehead St. Police have arrested and charged O'Brian Levon Collins for the murder.

Chestnut was shot and killed while driving a vehicle on Columbus Circle. Three men arrested for the murder.

Victim was working as the manager of the Thrift Motel on North Tryon Street when she was shot and killed during a robbery attempt.

Victim was found murdered by his roommate at The Birchcroft Apartments.

Green was shot and killed at the Hampton Crest Apartments. A woman shot him because she claims he was assaulting her.

Shot to death while driving on the John Belk Freeway by an unknown suspect. Victim crashed vehicle after driving for 2 1/2 miles injured.
