A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed through a guard rail and collided with a train. The passenger died at the scene. The driver was transported to CMC with critical injuries. HITS is investigating the crash.

Male victim advised that the B/M suspect pulled him by force from his vehicle. The suspect entered the victims vehicle and then drove away. The suspect crashed into another vehicle and then fled on foot. Officers apprehended the suspect near the scene.

Male victim advised that five B/M suspects robbed him. Victim advised that he knows the suspects. All were wearing dark clothing and are in their twenties. Suspect #1, 5 ft 10, and 170 pounds with a goatee. Suspect #2, 5 ft 7, 150 pounds, shoulder length braided hair. Suspect #3, 5 ft 7, and 150 pounds with gold front teeth. No descriptions for suspects #4 & #5.

Female victims advised that they answered the door believing that children were trick or treating. When they opened the door, the five B/M suspects entered the residence and used a handgun to rob the victims of their purses. Suspects were wearing some type of black make up, dressed in black clothes, wearing hoodies and carrying a black bag. The suspects ran toward a parking lot at UNCC.
