Obviously the system is not working. Maybe it's time to outsource jail cells in foreign countries and ship these thugs there to serve there time, in a place where robbery is punished by death. Outsourcing the DA and Judges might save the state some money also. Go Charlotte your becoming number one in every way!

Great idea Bill! Since we are sending tons of jobs to China maybe we should send our convicts there too. I bet they would love the business, but there are way too many democrats in Washington to make that happen. Unfortunately our community leaders don't care if you protest, even its around election day! Lobbyists are who really run this country - thats why the system is flawed. Maybe we will see a real grass roots effort to demolish both the 'left' and 'right' political party??? I would love to see some REALLY smart independents take charge!
There is a leader like this out there - his name is Mitt Romney. Mitt is called a republican, but is even more of an independent. He is a truly genius capitalist that created companies like Staples, Dominos Pizza, and Brookstone.
The only way to successfully run a capitalist country like the USA is to let libertarian / independents lead it.
Forget being a member of a 'party' and lets go buy some more guns.
Also, anybody who hates the crime in Charlotte as much as I do will really appreciate the new movie, The Brave One. Without giving a spoiler, it is a REALLY good suspense thriller about out of control crime and how the thugs continue to win because no one is brave enough to stand up to it. If the DEA was immediately eliminated all recreational drugs became legal (to an extent), you would stop drug dealers cold. Then if you really want to strike the fear of God into the folks who want to rob from you, beat you, and rape you - OWN and KNOW HOW to USE A GUN. Seriously, if you don't think it can happen to you your either a) completely retarded or b) just plain stupid.

I'm 32 and live near Fort Mill, SC.
As I see more and more illegals in this area (which come from Charlotte) I can't wait for the day I've saved up enough money to buy a handgun to protect myself. I might even go for a CCP. I do not like Charlotte. I avoid it like the plague.
Your city is overrun with thugs and illegals and now they're drifting across the border!

These illegals don't belong to Charlotte. They're obviously free to roam wherever they please. If they can cross the Mexican border they can surely cross the NC/SC border. Maybe they'll keep heading south.
