All on the WBT team are doing a great job. I stopped by the Arboretum to meet Jeff Katz and make a donation.
Donations in honor of the two slain officers can be sent to:
Police Benovolent Fund c/o Greg Crystal CMPD Headquarters 601 East Trade Street Charlotte NC 28202
Please consider a $50 donation or more. They gave their lives. Is that too much money to ask?
This is YOUR chance to show your support and start saying "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore".

Right on hecklerkoch... Jeff Katz did an awesome job promoting donations and the blue ribbon campaign. I went to the Arboretum to get my ribbons and take a picture for the main webpage. I want to make sure the ribbon campaign will continue and all of Charlotte knows what the blue ribbons mean.
I hope Katz keeps it up and it isn't a one day campaign. In addition, it would be great to see the other media outlets pick up and promote the ribbons as well. This isn't about WBT or Jeff Katz- this is about supporting our police officers and I hope they remember that.
We have the opportunity to do something that matters. Buy some blue ribbon and give it to your friends, co-workers, neighbors. I don't think the shade of blue matters, as long as its a darker blue.
If you own a business, put them on the counter. It is a simple thing that means so much to the officers. Think of how good they feel when they see cars with blue ribbons or on light posts or stop signs. I really believe in the blue ribbon campaign!
We definitely need to help the families of the fallen officers AND support the officers still living who are still putting their lives at risk everyday for our safety.
