My purse was stolen from my car trunk at Peak Fitness on Morehead this Saturday. The criminals punched my lock out and took my purse. They used my AMEX card within 20 minutes.
My purse was found on the side on the road about an hour later...credit cards, drivers license, social security card missing, along with my brand new digital camera.
So, now in Charlotte, even if you lock your doors and hide your stuff out of sight, it's still no guarantee that your items will be safe. I am a native and I just can't believe how this city has changed.
The scary thing is that they watched me go in and I am sure that they have been stealing from this parking lot all along.
