Did you guys ever find a pro-2nd amend. lawyer? I need to find on that is willing to help me with getting my CCW approved after being denied for having a sealed court case that the sheriff decided they didn't like.

Pro-- is all about how much cash you have. If the Sheriff didn't like it then thats good enough for me.

I'm interested in a Pro-2A attorney as well.
If the case is sealed, why does it matter? You can always open carry. Of course, that brings mixed reactions from a lot of different angles.

lokiracer, where were you in the process w/ the ccw? you took the class and submitted the ppwk I assume?
go back and ask your CCW permit instructor for recommendations, or call some other ones in the area, they might know... i'm still interested to know myself, if anyone turns up anything
btw, not to pry, but i'm not sure i understand how your sealed case affects things, if you technically meet the requirements of the state's policy, as far as i know, NC is a 'shall' issue state, meaning they have to issue the permit whether they like it, or you, or not... unless the sealed court case resulted in a conviction that excludes you from meeting the state requirements...
but what do i know? not a lawyer...
