Why doesn't Charlotte do something like this on Halloween?
Halloween Crackdown on Sex Offenders
Gaston County Police say they want to make sure no sex offenders are on the streets Halloween night bothering trick-or-treaters.
They have announced a program that forces all sex offenders on probation to go to the Gaston County courthouse on Halloween night between 6 and 9 p.m.
Sex offenders who don't show up will be arrested.
